Today my lawyer sent me my receipt numbers for 485, EAD and AP. when I enter my AP receipt number to check online status I see the following...
Application Type: OS155A, IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On August 30, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
Anyone know what this means... It doesn't say I-131 in application type..

My lawyer says the checks have been cashed and we have proof of this.. She says it can be a typo..
Most weird part is for my EAD it says card has been ordered.. but I haven't even done finger prints and my 485 is in suspense..
Anyone any idea whats happening.. should I be worried about OS155A and 485 things..

What is unemployment wage report? I read that many visa seekers were asked for this.
Also, they were asked for a notarized list of all the employees with their job title, salary and immigration status. Wow now to get salary information for everyone is breach of privacy.

We got our EAD cards today.
We had gone for FP on Sept 19th and saw LUDs on Sep 20th on our I-485s. But the EAD cards came without our fingerprints. EAD cards came from the same Service center (Nebraska) where the FP notices came from. So wondering, how they did not include our fingerprints in the EAD card?? I had also checked with FBI helpline two weeks back and verified that the FPs were delivered to USCIS.
Anybody else in similar situation?

When you did your FP, for what particular benefit it was intended? Was it strictly for 485 or was it combined for 485 and 765? If it was just for 485 - why do you expect it appear on your 765 and EAD card? As far as it known, 485 and 765 are complete different things and not related to each other in any way. Didn't you know that?

It hasn't terminated the program but it has stopped accepting applications from Software Professionals unless you are at the Manager level.

Note that EAD is not a valid document for re-entry.
If you have a valid AP - you can re-enter
or
If you have a valid H1/H4 AND un-expired visa stamping - you can re-enter
I had my H1 extension pending and I was able to re-enter using AP (on July 18, 2008 at San Francisco)
She has the F1 stamped on the passport which is valid until Dec 2009 I think. She is finishing much before that. Does it mean she will not be able to reenter on either F1 visa or the EAD?

Bush said he wants to improve the working visas, I think the prority needs to offer to Canadians because Canadinas use the same language and education system, the distance is closer. We need to call all the senetors, the working visas.etc. need to go to Canadina citizens first.

My wife'e H1B expires on Feb 2007 and she still has not applied for H1B renewal as she was on maternity leave. She will do so in first week of November. It looks like H1B extension process takes more than 3 months. Virginia is one of the states which just gives ur Driver license till ur H1B validity. So her license is valid till feb 2007. Would like to know if she can get her license renewed in Feb 2007 with a H1b receipt number or should she do Premium processing of her H1B. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I doubt they will extend it. They will just look at I 797 and see if the name and expiry date. How ever call Identity Services (dont remember the division's name exactly) @ 804 367 0064 and explain your situation. They are the folks that generally issue a letter for H4 visa holders who do not have a I 797. They will take atleast 1 month to send the letter once they decide to do it. Start acting now! Good luck.
