I Have my EAD card but my spouse was in India when i applied for EAD. That mean she doesn't have EAD card rite now.

Why would an entry on AP not apply here?
also gap in employement when on AOS should not be a problem given GC is for future employment and as long as your employer can give an EVL when required with the necessary info. Right?

A little over a months time, I received a letter saying that the typo on my last name has been corrected. I could confirm that since the mailing address had all the correct details.
Hence, I guess, their typo correction system is a bit slow but it works!

Lawyers havent received notice yet either...does CSC only enter receipt dates or do they process EAD, AP etc. as well prior to transfers?
CSC will transfer the 485 to other service center (TSC, etc..) if you do not belong to their jurisdiction, but will process your EAD/AP, if they do the data entry. My 485 is transfered to TSC and got the transfer notice, but they also processed the EAD/AP. Received the EAD/AP from CSC.

Same case with me. Its been 20 days in Texas Center.
Actually when i call 3 Agents say its been posted , 1 says , The documnet was never produced.
The postal office does not loose AP. Its USCIS people who dont send them , but just chage the status.........
I have no hope of receing it now.

Is there any quota on filing the I 140s? My friend requested his employer for upgrading his 140 and he says that the attorney mentioned that the quota for I 140 is already full. I don't think it is right. Any inromation please.

I tried hard all the way to make him convince. Can I travel alone without him ? what will be the problem in future for visa? please advise.
