joining back to EB2 company is the only option I see. But if EB2 company doesn't exist , this is a unique situation. Talk with the lawyer immidiately.

Just keep waiting. My PD was current for months now, but my 140 is still pending. just keep waiting.
I think we can file for 485 even when I-140 is pending? We will get green card after 140 is approved but we can file for 485 and EAD ? Can anyone comment who has gone thru this process?

I did my three years diploma (polytechnic) and three years engineering degree (B.E.) after that and I had @ eight years of experience while I had applied for GC through EB2 category. I had no problem in getting my I-140 approval; so far I have not received single rfe.
I had same situation as vactorboy but I had US masters. I had no problem with labor or I-140. My I-140 was approved in a month.

We just applied for a student loan and got approved. Here are a few things we found out during the course of applying for the loan.
The only difference between you applying while on H1 vs. as PR/Citizen are the interest rates. Also if you are a PR/Citizen you qualify for a federal Stafford loan, which has the least interest rate and the best terms.
If you are on H1 and you can get a PR/Citizen as a co-signer you can qualify for other private loans with lower interests than without a co-signer. The only issue with having a co-signer is that it their credit report is going to reflect the loan and could impact their credit worthiness.
You [& co-signer] will have to send documents proving you are legal in this country. You need to fax - first page of passport, H1 approval, PR card [if you claim you are a PR]
PS: Not all companies give Student loans to Non-Citizens or Non-PR's. While on H1 the best deal we found was at http://www.accessgroup.org/

Also I forgot to add, did you file form G28 for your attorney to represent you in your 485 case? I am just thinking out aloud here and please verify with your lawyer....
If your attorney is representing you, then he gets the original RFE with the yellow letter and has to respond on your behalf with the info..you only get a copy of the RFE letter.
In my case, my attorney is not representing me and hence I got all the originals and it's my responsibility to respond to the RFE, not the lawyers.
Once again, these are just my thoughts. IV seniors can respond and also ask your lawyer.

I am wondering why it is that nobody knows whether a bill will be introduced in Sept. The house and senate have their timetables set long in advance.
Also, if it goes beyond Nov, and the Dems win, they might forget all about us; they care far more for the illegals, unfortunately.:(
We must try to get this passed before the elections in Nov.

Last month I called TSC and got a really nice IO. I was checking on my FBI name check status and he told me that he can get more details by A# instead of receipt NO. He in fact found my A# as i only had receipt number handy. He than told me that the FBI checks are cleared and my case is assigned to an IO.
Does case assigned to an IO means that when Visa nos are available i have chance to get GC? Does it mean it is adjudicated and waiting for visa NO?

But the application date on the second I-140 is more than 6 months later than the application date on I-485. And because of that USCIS thinks that my I-485 is not valid based on the seconf I-140. IV can grow into a very strong organization in these lines being discussed. The best way to do it is to join the IVs State chapters and mobilize the community and do meets and greets and conduct seminars and many other constructive stuff

Let us try to schedule a meet with the prospective presidential Candidates (McCain, Clinton and Obama) instead to let them know our issues.
By the time we actually get a meeting with the current president, his term may have expired. The presidential candidates, on the other hand will have some time now (not a whole lot but a little). If we squeeze some time there, we may be able to atleast get our issues out there.
we can do this to get the Dems attention to our problems...right now Obama and Clinton are campaining in PA..so the IV members who are from PA can try to meet them and explain our problems.. when they are out there for campaining..

that is another excellent choice mats the 10 d would suit someone very well that dosent want to spend more than say 1200 bucks on a camera and i would probably choose if i could find one a 10 d over all the above mentioned cameras as mats said it has the metal body and predictave focus and since its not being sold new you could probably find one well under 1000 bucks then use whatever amount you didnt spend on the body to buy a really good lens. cameras come and go but lenses stick around for a while so you mine as well get a good one.
