Most american cars are boring. Unlink this one, my dream car:
Most main stream Japanese cars are even more boring. Camry, Corolla, Civic, etc anyone? If they are not boring, then they are ugly. *cough* Juke *cough*.
Don't get me started on what Honda calls a redesign on the 2012 Civic.......
You're not going to get wow styling on some family sedan. You get wow styling on vehicles like Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, luxury cars, etc. Out of the mid-size family sedans, the 2013 Malibu is the best looking, IMHO.

Ok, so it seems the developer has kick up a bit of furore on this one.. ;)
Personally, I don't mind paying the 1.79 again to buy Tweetie 2 - at the end of the day it hardly breaks the bank. I'm not disgusted by it because he needs to keep making money somehow. (Although it looks like this developer may now be quite well off, judging by its ranking in the Top Grossing list ;))
But I do get this underwhelming feeling when I use Tweeite 2 - as it seems others do - and I think this stems from a few things:
1) In some ways, the new app is not 'better' than the first Tweetie - the UI is not so nice (an opinion), the speed is not so silky smooth (less of an opinion, bit more fact) and it doesn't even seem to do everything that Tweetie 1 did. In fact, I'm struggling to see - for my uses at least - what this version achieves that the first one didn't. And the implementation is not so nice either. What is the 'killer app' in version 2?
2) The idea that it was built from the ground up again. As the developer puts it - "I didn't just add a feature and change the version number. That's lame." Problem is, Tweetie 1 did not have any flaws or shortcomings in its implementation and was silky smooth and fast, at least for me. Tweetie 2 doesn't quite deliver that, which is why I'm left disappointed.
3) Tweetie 1 had 'wow' factor, Tweetie 2 doesn't.
4) The new icon is horrible (a matter of opinion, of course ;))
5) In deleting the first app from the store, Tweetie 1 has been end of life'd. Therefore, this version effectively stifles any upgrades to version 1, including any potential bug fixes.
6) The new version is underwhelming (did I say that already? :D)
Of course, one advantage of declaring Tweetie 2 as a whole new app is that it does give me the freedom to 'downgrade' back to Tweetie 1!!! I know which version of the app will be sitting on my iPhone's front page...

I was still deciding between the Arndale and The Trafford Centre but I think that the Arndale will be a better option. 10:00 sounds like a good start time. First time I have queued on a launch day. :)

iOS for iphone is an exclusive smartphone OS. Or are you telling me that ipod touch and ipad run the same exact OS?
Laptops and desktops run the same exact OS. There are no apps that are made specifically for a laptop or desktop. There are iphone apps that wont run on an ipod touch. There are ipad apps that wont run on an ipod touch or an iphone. If they were the same OS then that wouldnt happen.
Because it's common sense.
Wow I can't believe you have not used an iPad or iPod touch, they are the exact same os feel and look.
You are wrong, research a little before you make false statements

I use Google Talk on my BlackBerry quite often. It's a great program. I would assume that iChat support needs to be standard on an iPhone. If they added VOIP later on, that would be AMAZING! They haven't added it to Google Talk yet, because that would use the data network and not run up your minutes, which service providers don't want to do.

So there is/was a massive Solar Flare (http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2011/02/17/science-solar-flare-aurora.html) hitting us recently and at my parents house the lights started flickering around 6pm tonight (thursday, 02.17). Just now thought that that could have been because of this recent solar flare affecting the powergrid.

"Just wait for the Verizon iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the White iPhone 4 numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 4S numbers!"
"Just wait for the iPhone 5 numbers!"
I'm starting to see a pattern.
Name 1 Android device with sales figures like the iPhone 4.
Apple...
You are/were 1 to 2 years late with putting out this Verizon iPhone.
Android has gained adoption...
Don't worry, you will be fine in the long run - a Verizon LTE iPhone 6 will get your sales kicked in within the Verizon market. I know I will be going back to an iPhone when it happens.
Keep in mind Apple approached VZW first, and when they were turned down, Apple then went to Cingular(Now AT&T).

Price when I sell my current iPhone 4 just went up 50 bucks.
Exactly. Whenever I've upgraded my iPhone early, I always recoup nearly 100% of the upgrade cost by selling the old iPhone on Craigslist. This change doesn't mean much to me.
And not sure why everyone hates AT&T. I live in Boston...I always have 4+ bars of service. I pay my bill online every month with zero problems. Not sure what the big deal is...

Well, I have to say that I was getting pretty tired of all the iPhone rumors day after day.
But now that they're talking about a totally DIFFERENT phone than the one we know nothing about...well that's much better! :D

You should see the bruised ego when a gay man tells a straight man he's not attracted to him. Trust me, that one stings. For some reason, straight guys think we all think they're hot or something.
But you do all think I'm hot.
